Many of us have thought of the Club as the same as our recovery group (AA, NA, GA, Etc), but this is not the case. The Club is the "Place" whereas our meetings are the "Content" that happens within that place. Being a Member of the Club provides not only the benefits listed above, but can also serve as a Service Commitment in that your membership provides funds that the Club needs to survive, and the Groups need the Club for their meetings. There's nothing like the feeling of being invested in the place where you experience your recovery in meetings. Thanks in advance for your commitment!
